Heyday at MainStreetBoerne.com!

Welcome to Heyday!

Heyday is a furniture and home furnishings shop that was opened six years ago by Dick and Susan Gross just after they moved to Boerne from Houston.

Heyday is the exclusive dealer for David Marsh's hand-crafted, hand-painted pine furniture in the San Antonio and Texas Hill Country areas. This whimsical 'fun' furniture is sold by some two dozen small shops around the United States, each of which is owned by a friend of David's who appreciates its charm and quality.

Marsh's furniture includes dining tables and coffee, lamp, console and occasional tables of various sizes and styles; cabinets, armoires and entertainment centers in many different shapes and sizes; mirrors; and a wide variety of hutches, bookshelves, headboards and night stands. There are a good many other pieces, too numerous to mention. David frequently adds new pieces and changes some of the older ones, thereby keeping the line fresh and interesting.

Heyday also offers Mexican primitives and restored farm furniture such as chests, tables and benches. The store has a wide variety of chairs painted to go with any of the many styles and types of dining tables. There are floor and table lamps, wall sconces and chandeliers, imported glassware and table settings and wonderful hand-thrown pottery by local artisans. In addition, Heyday has antique doors from Mexico and Morocco, old architectural elements, folk art, and an unusual collection of candles and wrought iron candlesticks, candelabra and sconces.
