Irish Country House Accommodation - Bed & Breakfast with Gourmet Food

Raheengraney House sits on the end of the Wicklow Way overlooking Mount Leinster and enjoys panoramic views which have been undisturbed for almost 250 years. Towards the end of this century, the house had fallen into disrepair and almost disappeared from the beautiful Irish countryside forever, but has been restored to its original grandeur and furnished to the highest standards.

accommodation in BordeauxOnce listed on the national Irish Heritage Council's At Risk register for significant houses in danger of being lost and now listed by the Wicklow Country Council as an important historical and architectural building, Raheengraney House takes its place once more in the heart of the local community, this time as a gracious country guest house. These pages are devoted to major restoration work involved, the history of the house and give some glimpses into the wonderful food which will be available as well as some of the people who have made it possible - from suppliers to advisers.

We are now in the process of landscaping the grounds surrounding the house and have major plans for the remaining courtyard buildings - but like all restoration work it takes time, lots of time.
