The PTA is working very hard to raise funds for our new playground. We may be getting assistance from the county. Therefore, it will be a combine effort. Presently we are raising funds by:
- Bids for a dinner to be prepared by Chef Buzz Valadao from Outrigger's. Place bids directly with the restaurant. Chef Buzz is frequently features on BLAB TV. Tune in to hear him talk about the bid and Hellen Caro's Carnival.
- Torquay Alojamientos baratosPrizes are being donated from area businesses and will be given away the day of the carnival. Tickets will be sold for these prize drawings.
- Local businesses may donate $40 dollars in exchange for a sign to be displayed at the Carnival. This offer will not be limited to businesses only. Place your families name on a sign!!
Do you have a card? A PTA membership card that is! We are asking that everyone who has a child at Hellen Caro join PTA. PTA is a way to show support for your child. The membership fee is $5 dollars per family. Of your $5 dollars, $3 dollars goes to PTA and $2 dollars goes to State and National PTA membership.
